What a “commercially verified by” line means
Our price pages quote the published price lists of the clinic groups we work with. Where a page carries the line “Commercially verified by”, a named person at that clinic has read the live page, compared every price, fee and “what the price includes” statement about their clinic with their current price list, and confirmed on the date shown that they are correct. The line names the person, their role and the date.
The confirmation is tied to the figures. If any price on that page changes later, the line is removed until the clinic has checked the new version. Approving a page does not publish or change it; the clinic cannot edit our pages, and we do not edit theirs.
Who does the checking
The people below work for the partner clinics, not for Eye Surgery Clinic. They verify only their own clinic’s figures; where a page also shows another clinic’s prices, those are checked by that clinic. No clinic pays to have its prices shown as verified, and a verification does not change how a clinic is presented or ranked on this site.
Clinical content is a separate matter: pages that describe a procedure are read by consultant ophthalmic surgeons, whose review line links to their own profile on the consultant eye surgeons page and to the GMC register; none of them is employed by Eye Surgery Clinic. Our editorial policy explains both kinds of line.

If a price looks wrong
Prices change. If a figure on one of our pages no longer matches the clinic’s own list, use the contact form and name the page; we check it against the source and correct the page itself.
