Our Southampton clinic is based at Spire Southampton Hospital, a CQC-rated facility with dedicated ophthalmology theatres, on-site biometry, and OCT scanning. The clinic serves patients across Hampshire — including Eastleigh, Romsey, Totton, Hedge End and the New Forest — typically seeing patients within one to two weeks.
You will be seen by the same Consultant Ophthalmologist throughout your care: from your first appointment, through any biometry and pre-op assessment, into the operating theatre, and on to your recovery reviews. There are no rotating clinicians, no junior handovers, and no need to repeat your medical history.
The clinic offers the full surgical pathway for adult eye conditions — most commonly cataract surgery and oculoplastic procedures, but also vitreoretinal surgery, glaucoma laser and surgery, and AMD injections. We are recognised by all major UK insurers and offer 0% finance options for self-pay patients.
