Miss Sharma completed her specialist training in ophthalmology in Wales and then an advanced fellowship in oculoplastic, lacrimal and orbital surgery at University Hospital Southampton. She has worked as a consultant at Basingstoke Hospital and at Dorset County Hospital.
Her work covers functional, reconstructive and cosmetic eyelid surgery: eyelid malposition and ptosis, lesions and skin cancers around the eye, eyelid reconstruction, watery-eye disorders, conditions related to the facial nerve, and the ageing eyelid.
