Dr Almousa qualified in medicine (MD) at the University of Damascus. He is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and holds the Certificate in Laser and Refractive Surgery (CertLRS). He completed two fellowships: in oculoplastics at the National University Hospital, Singapore, and in cornea, anterior segment and refractive surgery at the Queen Victoria Hospital in the UK.
