What’s included in the price

Our blepharoplasty prices are fixed and all-inclusive, so there are no surprises. Each package covers:

  • Your consultant oculoplastic surgeon’s fees for the operation
  • The theatre and facility fees for your day-case procedure
  • Local anaesthetic with sedation and the care team on the day
  • All surgical consumables used during your surgery
  • All routine post-operative appointments and aftercare
  • A clear recovery plan to take home

Most patients return to non-physical work within 7–10 days. Fine scars are placed in the natural skin creases and fade over the following months.

0% finance options

You don’t have to pay for surgery all at once. We offer interest-free (0% APR) finance that lets you spread the cost over manageable monthly instalments, subject to status. For example, a £3,950 bilateral upper blepharoplasty can be spread over monthly payments with no interest. Full details and an application are on our finance page.

Using private medical insurance

Cosmetic eyelid surgery is not usually covered by private medical insurance. However, an upper blepharoplasty performed for a functional reason — where overhanging lid skin obstructs the upper visual field — may be eligible with the right documentation and pre-authorisation. We will tell you honestly whether your case is functional or cosmetic. See our guidance for insured patients for how to arrange cover.

Frequently asked questions

How long is the recovery after blepharoplasty?
Most patients return to non-physical work within 7–10 days. Bruising and swelling settle over the first week or two, with the final contour refining over several weeks. We provide a clear aftercare plan and follow-up.
Will the scars be visible?
Incisions are placed in the natural skin creases of the eyelids, so the fine scars are well hidden. They typically fade over the following months and become difficult to see once fully healed.
How long do the results last?
Blepharoplasty results are long-lasting and often effectively permanent, although the natural ageing process continues around the eyes. Many patients enjoy the improvement for many years.
Is blepharoplasty painful?
Discomfort is minimal. The surgery is performed under local anaesthetic with sedation, so you are comfortable throughout, and most patients describe mild tightness rather than pain afterwards.
Can blepharoplasty improve my vision?
An upper blepharoplasty can improve a heavy or obstructed upper visual field where excess lid skin overhangs the lashes. If you have dry eye or blepharitis we assess this first, as eyelid surgery can worsen dryness, so it is optimised before treatment.
