What happens during the procedure
Upper blepharoplasty is usually performed under local anaesthetic with optional sedation; four-lid surgery is typically done under general anaesthetic. Each procedure is a day case — you go home the same day.
- The lid markings are planned with you sitting up, so the natural crease and symmetry are preserved.
