Before comparing prices, confirm each quote includes all of the following. If any item is missing, the headline figure is not the price you will actually pay:
- Consultant-led assessment — examination by the surgeon who will operate, not just a screening
- Biometry & diagnostic scans to measure your eye and calculate lens power
- The surgery itself, theatre and hospital fees
- Your chosen IOL — monofocal, EDOF, multifocal or toric
- Post-operative drops and medication
- All follow-up reviews, typically at one week and four weeks
- Cover for the second eye where both are being treated
