Every quote covers your consultation, biometry, the surgery, theatre and hospital fees, your chosen lens, post-op drops and follow-up reviews — with no hidden extras. Request a quote below and a specialist will confirm your exact package price, including any astigmatism correction, and your finance options.

How to get your cataract surgery quote online

Getting a price should be simple. Rather than waiting for a phone call to learn the cost, you can request a personalised quote online and see the all-inclusive figure for the lens you want. Because our pricing is fixed and package-based, the quote you receive is the price you pay — there are no theatre surcharges, consultation fees or aftercare charges added later.

Your quote reflects the lens you choose, whether one or both eyes are being treated, and whether you need a toric lens to correct astigmatism. If you are treating both eyes, second-eye pricing is built in — see our second-eye cataract surgery cost guide for detail.

Why patients ask for an online quote

  • Transparency — know the full cost before you book a consultation
  • Compare lenses — see the price difference between monofocal, EDOF and multifocal
  • Budget with confidence — no surprise extras added on the day
  • Plan finance — check monthly payment options up front
  • Self-pay or insured — a quote helps whether you are paying yourself or claiming

What every quote includes

Our cataract quotes are genuinely all-inclusive. Whichever lens you choose, the package price covers:

  1. Consultation and biometry — the assessment and precise eye measurements used to select your lens power.
  2. The surgery itself — 15–25 minutes per eye under local anaesthetic drops, performed by a consultant surgeon.
  3. Theatre and hospital fees — no separate facility charge.
  4. Your chosen intraocular lens — monofocal, EDOF, multifocal or toric.
  5. Post-op drops and follow-up reviews — at one week and four weeks.

Recovery week-by-week

Most patients notice clearer vision within hours of surgery, but full healing takes about a month. Here is what to expect:

Day of surgery

Vision is hazy for a few hours. Eye shield worn for the first night. No driving, no heavy lifting. Eye drops begin.

Days 1–3

Vision begins to clear noticeably. Mild grittiness or watering is normal. Most return to gentle activities and reading.

Week 1

First post-op review. Most patients are back to driving, working and walking — no swimming or eye rubbing yet.

Weeks 2–4

Vision continues to refine. Eye drops continue. New glasses prescription (if needed) at week 4–6.

Beyond a month

Final vision is settled. Second eye scheduled if both are being treated.

Payment and finance

Once you have your quote you can choose how to pay:

  • Self-pay: the all-inclusive package price, from £2,900 per eye (monofocal); £3,796 EDOF; £4,300 multifocal.
  • Insurance: recognised by Bupa, AXA, Aviva, Vitality, Cigna, WPA and others — we handle authorisation.
  • Finance: 0% for 12 months. See our finance options to estimate monthly payments.
